Dewey

Cookie – Italian Greyhound/Whippet 10 years/Female/16 pounds
Dewey- Doxie/Chi X/8 years/Male/15 pounds

Adopted August 2017

[Cookie listed elsewhere]

Cookie and Dewey were an unlikely pair and as much as we loved them we knew it was going to be very hard to find someone to even try them. Luckily we have a family with whom we have been working to find a good bonded pair of dogs for them but also good for their beloved kitties and chickens. Dewey loved the family from the start but it took him at least five minutes to worm his way into their hearts. He has a fabulous home and gets to be with his best friend Cookie. We miss them but know that they are in great hands.

The Lady and the Scamp are delightful new foster dogs for us.
We call them by those names because of their intriguing and adorable personalities.

The “Lady” is a beautiful, dainty, graceful, and elegant girl.
The “Scamp” is a charming and playful little fellow who scampers around and enjoys life
What a fun pair of dogs. They are best friends and watch out for one another.

They are good with other dogs, with all people, they don’t mind a ride in the car, and they have been caught napping next to Edward who is a Blue Brit (cat). They grew up with a Munchkin cat named Rider. Once their human was moved to a care facility it was just the three of them fending for themselves.

They seem to have good potty habits. They haven’t had accidents in the foster home and do their business outside. Dewey (the Scamp) likes a great big orange traffic cone.
These dogs love having a big back yard to play in and would rather be outside than in, though are fine once inside, and only need one big comfy dog bed to share. Even on their first scary night in foster care, they slept quietly through the night.
We agree that they are an odd pairing but they will delight and charm you and make a wonderful addition to your family.
Lady and the Scamp are fostered in Kirkland WA
