Wire Haired Jack Russell Terrier mix
Female/spayed/shots
18 months old
12 lbs

Rosie Adopted August 2017

Rosie gets to live with her new human where she works which is kind of fun. She will get the love and care of a kind owner and have a chance to mingle with other humans. She even has a little fenced yard during the work day. It’s pretty cool for a little dog found running scared on the streets.

------------------

Rosie is such a sweet and dear little angel. She’s snuggly, loves to play, rides well in a car, she can be independent, but loves people and other dogs. Right now she is living with four other dogs (soon to be joined by a new foster dog, though) and gets along well with everyone. She is living in one of the best foster homes any dog would hope to find.
Rosie is a terrific companion and a great little walker and just so much fun. She can be crated when you are away. She is still quite young and puppy like and stays out of mischief in a crate.
She had been living with a sibling and we felt that they would do better separated particularly regarding potty training. They kind of feed off one another.
She is healthy and has the Veterinarian report, chart notes, and blood work to prove it!
Rosie HAS to be allowed to flop down on the sofa. That’s a deal breaker for her but she does not need to sleep in your bed. She needs a home where youthful exuberance is appreciated. That’s one of the reasons you choose a young dog, after all. Oddly, though, she is not barky which we would expect in this breed.
She would like a bath once in a while but is not a groom dog so other than trimming toes and a nice bath, she won’t require monthly grooming appointments.
Her foster parents are working on her potty training and she is making progress but she’s not quite “there” yet.

Rosie is fostered in Kirkland WA.
