From early childhood Rebecca showed compassion for all animals, caring for cats and dogs that came her way. As a teenager and young adult her desire and mission in life was to aid those animals in need of homes or medical care. She dedicated years of her life to being an advocate of animal rights; continually fostering and rescuing countless animals whenever needed. Rebecca's life changed when she herself was faced with a life threatening cancer. As she battled her cancer she continued her work; and she herself needed assistance to care for her beloved four cats. A promise was made that her family of kitties would stay together and be cared for. This reassurance made Rebecca's last days easier knowing Larry, Uma, Oliver, and Moe would be safe and happy with Rebecca's mom. Rebecca's Rainbow is named after our friend in animal rescue who died of cancer after a long fight. She was loved and admired and should never be forgotten. Her work and life's mission lives on with Rebecca's Rainbow.
